Welcoming more than 23,000 students, of whom a quarter are from abroad (126 nationalities), home to 3,500 teachers and researchers, and providing one of the most diversified educational offers in francophone Belgium (38 bachelor’s degrees, 200 master’s degrees, PhDs, numerous in-house training courses), the University of Liège (ULiège) has links with 1,000 institutions world-wide, integrated in vast international academic and scientific networks.
The University of Liège is one of the largest employers in Wallonia (5,000 employees). ULiège also qualifies for ECTS, DS (Diploma Supplement) and HR Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) Labels granted by the European Commission, which guarantees the quality of the welcome and follow-up support given to exchange students, PhD and Post-doc researchers. Attentive to the needs of society, ULiège plays an important role as a creator of activities with high added value and in providing dynamism to technological centres uniting business companies and public institutions (Biotechnologies, Medical Sciences, Space Sciences and Industry, Environment, Agro-Bio Technologies, etc.).

The Romanian Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking Association is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization whose membership includes educators interested in developing literacy and critical thinking skills as means of promoting quality education and sustainable development for all. We provide regular professional development opportunities by organizing training courses, roundtables and conferences, by developing and disseminating resources for educators, by sharing news from education around the world, and by conducting small-scale research to inform practitioners and educational policy-makers.
We cooperate with like-minded organizations from Romania and from other countries to complement and combine efforts to achieve our mission by learning together and supporting each other in the development and piloting of innovative approaches to increase the quality of everyone’s learning experiences.
ALSDGC is a member organization of the Federation of European Literacy Associations, of the International Literacy Association and of the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking International Consortium.

Estonian Reading Association (EstRA)

Estonian Reading Association is a non-profit organisation established in 1992. There are about 150 members in the organisation: teachers, research fellows, speech therapists, special education teachers, librarians, psychologists, journalists, students etc.
We are members of IRA (International Reading Association) and IDEC/FELA (International Development in Europe Committee).
The goals of EstRA are:
- enhancement of language competence among children, adolescents and adults in Estonia;
- dissemination of information on language competence, literacy and reading difficulties
- assistance to research into reading, literacy and language competences.

Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo “Danilo Dolci”

Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” was established based on the experience of social and educational work carried out by Danilo Dolci and his collaborators, which started in Eastern Sicily back in 1952. The Centre stemmed from the need of offering the local communities a reality committed to practically solve the problems raised during regular meetings held with people, and in 1958 it was renamed as Centre of Studies and Initiatives for Full Employment, with the purpose of promoting economic and social development of the local territory.
At present, the Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” is a non-profit association involving young people and adults, which mainly acts through projects in the educational field carried out in cooperation with schools, universities, institutions, associations and social groups both at local and international level.
